Plane information: The world's first commercial jet airplane was the De Havilland Comet. This aircraft was in service with BOAC in the early 1950's. German bombers that were used during WW2 were: Arado Ar 234,Dornier Do 217, Heinkel He 111, Heinkel He 177, Junkers Ju 88, and the Focke-Wulf Fw 200 Condor. In the airplane gallery there is an airplane art picture of a B17. This airplane art picture was painted on a wall at an American airbase in England during WWII.
