Belfry picture information: A view of the Belfry in Bruges as seen from the canal. The belfry is 83m high. The corner turrets on the belfry were added in 1395. A wooden spire was built atop the belfry but was destroyed by lighting or fire. There are many hotels near to the Belfry.
